PAM SHORTENS CDL CONTRACTS TO 6-MONTH COMMITMENT

Interested in starting a new career as a truck driver without having to commit to long CDL contracts? New PAM drivers only have to commit for 6 months. That’s a new industry standard because other trucking companies require CDL contracts of at least 1 or 2 years!

But that’s not all. PAM Transport just made it easier to get the training you need to start a new career, thanks to our partnership with Training Professional Drivers (TPD) to offer a new, onsite training school to get your trucking career off on the right foot.

SAY GOODBYE TO LONG CDL CONTRACTS AND START TRAINING AT TPD

While most truck driving companies are reluctant to take on new recruits, training new drivers is part of PAM’s mission. And our shorter, 6-month driving commitment is unique in an industry that forces new drivers to commit to long CDL contracts. At PAM, you only have to train at our onsite TPD school to get your school costs covered.

In fact, we’re confident that once you get to know the PAM family and find out about all our great benefits for truck drivers, you’ll want to stick around.

  • $100 Weekly Stipend*
  • Paid Lodging While at School
  • Convenient Training at PAM Headquarters
  • More Time In-Seat Training

All you have to do to get started is apply, by visiting our CDL information page, so a PAM recruiter can reach out to you and start working with you to get your training started. We’ll walk you through your background checks, DOT physical, and drug screening. Then your recruiter and student coordinator will set you up with everything you need to start your on-campus training.

Your onsite training will take about 3 weeks, which will include classroom instruction, as well as hands-on training at the driving range, including backing practice. You’ll also go out on the road with a top-notch instructor.

After you get your CDL and after you graduate from the TPD school, we’ll make arrangements for you to meet your Driver Mentor, so you can continue your training.**

APPLY TODAY AND START TRAINING WITHOUT COMMITTING TO A LONG CDL CONTRACT

Why commit to a CDL contract that makes you work one year, two years, or more, when you can get a better deal at PAM? As long as you fulfill your commitment to work for us for 6 months after you graduate from TPD, PAM will cover 100% of the cost of your tuition. Your out-of-pocket expenses will include the $50 state testing fee and your food and personal supplies. But guess what, TPD will pay you a $100 weekly stipend to help you cover your personal expenses during your training!*

Here’s how this works: When you start training at our onsite TPD school in Tontitown, Arkansas, you can drive yourself, and PAM will reimburse you for your fuel. Or PAM can get you a bus ticket. We’ll cover the cost of the bus ticket and an Uber to get you from the bus station to the hotel. PAM will provide a shuttle to and back from our TPD CDL school each day. We will also pay for your hotel room while you are in school.
We look forward to helping you get your CDL at our onsite, TPD driving school. Learn more about the new driving school and how to apply by visiting our CDL information page.
